Gaming Platform
Tv Video game files come with an extension of 'filename'.nesTo execute such file we need an nes emulator. Many emulators are available for free on net.
I will be using emulator called Jnes.
or directly browse from here.
You can find list of emulators available for free in the link mentioned above.
Assuming you downloaded Jnes emulator as I suggested, the tutorial continues..
Configuring Settings
-> You have just downloaded an executable zipped file containing the emulator. No need to install it. Just unzip it to the desired location.-> The unzipped folder contains certain files along with Jnes.exe
-> Open the file and before you load a game lets configure its controls.
-> The application has few tabs. They are File || Cpu || Options || Help
We will be dealing only with Options.
1, Click on options and select sub category Input. There you get to configure your game play movement and actions controls.Assign them as per your comfort or just make yourself familiar with present settings.
2, Click on options and select sub category Settings and tick "Associate .NES files with jnes". Now Every nes file will be automatically opened with jnes.
And you are ready to go.
